Micahel Nulk
Director, Business Development, Integrated Mission Solutions, Mission Systems
Mike Nulk is a director of business development at Collins Aerospace, an RTX business. Nulk leads the Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) business development team within the Mission Systems strategic business unit. The IMS portfolio holds a wide range of technologies and programs encompassing the next-generation spacesuit, aircraft simulators, power generations, weapons subsystems, and ejection seats, to name a few. In his role, Nulk leads and implements business capture strategies to grow the portfolio by helping his customers achieve their desired requirements and capabilities.
Nulk has worked in both Collins Aerospace and the Raytheon business performing business development leader and capture manager roles in the Space Systems, Standard Missile 2, Standard Missile 6, Paveway and several hypersonic missile pursuits. Nulk is a graduate of Raytheon’s Business Development Leadership Development Program.
Prior to joining RTX, Nulk worked at L3 Communications and served in the United States Army. At L3, Nulk was a process engineer for a semi-conductor manufacturing portfolio that developed and produced uncooled infrared detector focal plane arrays. Specifically, Nulk was the dry plasma etch module and tool owner. With the Army, Nulk was an engineer officer. He led a mechanized infantry platoon in Iraq and lead a combat engineer company performing route clearance operations across two tours in Afghanistan.
Nulk holds a bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a master’s in engineering management from Missouri Science and Technology. He is married with four children, and resides in Tucson, Arizona.
