Mike has been in the aviation industry for over 25 years and currently holds the position of Senior Specialist Aerodromes within the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). 

 

Mike started his career with the UK Civil Aviation Authority in 1998 and held various positions within the Aerodrome Standards Department throughout his 16 years there. In GCAA, he is responsible for the safety oversight and regulation of the airports in accordance with the CAR Part IX and CAR Part X requirements. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and has a wealth of regulatory experience within the aviation sector that he is eager to share in the interest's improving safety.
