Marco Di Clemente, received the M.Eng. cum laude in Aerospace Engineering and Ph.D. degrees in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2002 and 2008 respectively. He is currently working at Italian Space Agency as Responsible of Technology Unit, he is member of national delegation at ESA Industrial Policy Committee as advisor, national delegate at Technology Harmonization Advisory Group and Space Component Steering Board, member of the Propulsion Committee of Interantional Astronautical Federation (IAF). His duties include the definition of technology roadmaps within ASI technology program and the coordination of ASI activities regarding technology developments at national, ESA and EC level. Marco is currently the program manager for the realization of Space Factory 4.0 and responsible of several technology development projects. Previously, Marco held several positions within the Italian Aerospace Research Centre (CIRA), dealing with Aerothermodynamics and Space Propulsion. He is author of more than 50 publications in peer reviewed international journals and conference proceedings.
