Kevin completed a distinguished 25-year U.S. Air Force career in 2016. During his service he held commands both in the U.S. and contingency locations, served on Air Combat Command staff developing plans and programs and as Commander of Air Force Forces in Air Forces Central. He had key leadership assignments in the first operational F-22 squadrons and commanded the largest Operations Group and Wing in ACC, leading both formal training and operational F-15E mission execution. Kevin totaled over 800 hours in the F-22A and more than 3000 hours in the F-15E during operational, test, and formal training unit assignments. Additionally, he completed Senior Developmental
Education as a Fellow for the Secretary of Defense Corporate program, assigned to F-35 Joint Strike Fighter engine team at Pratt and Whitney Military Engines.
Kevin was commissioned into the Air Force through the ROTC program following graduation from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology where he earned a Bachelors and master's in aerospace engineering. He also holds a Masters of Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Kevin attended the Executive MBA program at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia. Additional senior officer courses attended include the U.S. Air Force Wing Commanders Course, NATO Senior Officer Policy Course, NATO School Oberammergau, Germany, and the Aircraft Accident Safety Investigation Board President Course.
Prior to joining Red 6 Kevin has served in various business development and program management roles, to include; Vice President, Operations and Business Development, Top Aces Corp.; Executive Director, U.S. Air Force Programs, Aerojet Rocketdyne; Director F135 Sustainment, Pratt and Whitney Military Engines; Director Aeronautics Division, Operational Support Group, and Senior Associate, Advanced Consulting and Programatics. He also served on the precision strike weapons group for the National Defense Industrial Association.
