James is the founder and CEO of Holiday Swap Group and Global Airlines. James’ passion for travel is demonstrated by the fact he is the official Guinness record holder for being the youngest person to visit every sovereign country in the world. James started his career at HSBC as a Bond Trader in global markets. Asquith was also a Vice President at Deutsche Bank and Director in SMBC Nikko Capital Markets. In 2017, James founded Holiday Swap, which is a multi-award-winning home exchange and rental platform operating in 184 countries around the world. Currently, Holiday Swap has over 10M website users. In 2023, his plans for Global Airlines were announced. To date, the new airline has agreements to acquire four A380’s and aspires to commence flying in 2024, with a promise to provide passengers with the “best way to fly”. James is a graduate of the London School of Economics.
