Eugene Barry is the Chair of Dubai Airshow’s Project Board for the 2023 event. He joined Dubai Airports in 2009 and is responsible for leading and growing the company’s non-aeronautical revenue portfolio, including DXB’s and DWC’s on-airport businesses.

Eugene’s commercial portfolio includes ground handling and fuel partnerships, property leasing, and concession management comprising retail, hospitality, advertising and transport partnerships. He is a Board Member of Emirates Flight Catering, and is a past Board Member of the Middle East and Africa Duty Free Association (MEADFA).

Eugene has previously worked across the Middle East region in the field of airport commercial development, including secondments for start-ups and on-going management in Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Qatar and Cyprus with Aer Rianta International, and with Dubai Duty Free, Dufry, and DFS in the UAE.
