Bruce Brown is a vice president of Collins Aerospace, a business of RTX. Brown has responsibility for Business Development within the Mission Systems strategic business unit. Mission Systems delivers military, government and civil solutions to help customers worldwide safely and successfully complete their most complex missions. In his role, Brown leads business unit efforts to identify and capture new business opportunities both domestically and internationally.
Brown previously led business development for the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Space in Mission Systems.
Brown began his RTX career in 2009 at Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems as an engineer. He has since held positions in business development, engineering, product lines, and requirements and capabilities across multiple programs and services.
Prior to joining RTX, Brown was a platoon leader and tactical control officer for a Patriot Fire Unit, stationed at Ft. Bliss, Texas. Brown retired from the Army in 2009.
Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a master’s in business administration from Northeastern University, and master’s in finance also from Northeastern University. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in business administration. In addition, Brown is a graduate of the RTX Leadership Development Program and holds earned value management, capture management, and program management certifications. He is based in South Carolina.
